The flats on the corner of Canning Street and Catharine Street are now fully occupied, though in my opinion they'll never be fit for habitation. I haven't been inside yet, but from the outside this looks like a detention block.
On top of all that, they can't spell - a sign offers 'appartments'!
One Canning resident said, "It looks like a child was playing with Lego, but ran out of windows."
Amazingly, these are to be offered under the shared ownership scheme, where tenants pay rent and a mortgage. Who would want to own a piece of this?
